Winning the battles but not the war seems to be the catch phrase for this week. I did VERY well on my mini-goals of taking walks at lunch and drinking more water/pure tea and absolutely no soda (even my beloved Cherry Coke Zero), but I didn't make it to the gym at all this week, so I couldn't weigh myself and I'm fairly certain I didn't lose anything. I'm off to a slow start, but I feel that's what I need to do for me to make this a real lifestyle change and not a "diet".
This week's goals: get to the gym more, and on the nights I can't, do some form of exercise at home, weights, a workout DVD or the Yoga program that my sister got to help me sleep. Also, walk to Grand Central from work instead of taking the train.

Good luck this week. You set out some good goals, so if you stick with them you'll be making significant progress, even if it doesn't show on the scale yet.
Even just walking instead of taking the train...if you do it every day...will make a difference.
Go girl!!
You go girl! Sounds like a great plan!!!
I give you credit for the pop (Sorry, soda). That is one of my weaknesses!
This Must Be The Place: and good luck to you! Here's hoping we see some scale results this week!
Jenn - so far so good! I walked the 20 blocks to Grand Central tonight! Hopefully I can keep it up!
SS - Soda pop is def one of my weaknesses too, there are some foods that just go better with soda! Of course those are foods I probably shouldn't be eating anyway...but still.
Those are wonderful goals! Sounds like you are on the right track.
