Why WHY do clothing companies do this to women....

After nearly a lifetime of looking for the perfect pair of jeans, that weren't too tight, were the right length, didn't do the "muffin top" thing and weren't a ridiculously low rise, I finally found them at the Lucky Brand Store. After a year of wear, they were starting to look a little worn out, so I went online and bought a new pair....and they CHANGED! My size is still the same, but the rise is incredibly low! I thought for sure they sent the wrong ones, but alas they were the right ones. I browsed the website again and they claim that is their highest rise! WHO on earth is wearing these jeans??!! I suppose that store is more geared towards the younger demographic, but as someone under 30 who wears jeans to work on a daily basis, I'm at a loss where to find appropriate jeans now that don't cost hundreds of dollars. Most of the popular brands of jeans (Paige Premium, Diesel, Baby Phat, etc.) don't make them big enough (I'm usually a 14, sometimes a 12, sometimes a 16).....what's a girl to do???

I love Ann Taylor Loft's straight and curvy boot cut jeans. I got some junk in the trunk and their jeans work very well. I also have a small waist, so the waistband issue is no longer an issue.

This is why when on the rare occassion (that isn't spelled right is it?) that I do find a some that fit right - I will buy 5 pair cause I know it will be years before I find more that I like
