Hahaha that's the first thing I asked too! He was out of the country for the whole time, so that was one hurdle and he also said that he has this strong desire to protect me from things. He never got over the fact that he, himself caused me pain when he broke up with me last year and he wanted to make sure he was doing the right thing before we jumped back into being together. We are trying desperately to go slow, but it's so hard when it just feels SO right.....
