I went!

My trip to the dentist went as well as to be expected. I shook and cried the entire time and felt like a fool, but everyone was super nice to me. They wanted to take my wisdom teeth out ASAP so tomorrow morning at 9am I will be going under and having all 4 taken out. I'm terrified and wish I had someone to go with me, but nobody I know could get off work on such short notice. I'm hoping I can talk well enough to hail a cab or find the subway after. I'm absolutely terrified, but I know it's time to have them out.

I want my mommy. :-(

Be prepared for wierd reactions coming out of anesthesia. When I had mine out, I had what Bill Cosby calls "the sup-sups." You know, like when you were a kid and couldn't stop crying. I don't know you, but I would go with you if I could. My mom went with me and held my hand. Stock up on popsicles and ice cream today. And Chicken Noodle soup. I'm gonna send you happy, peaceful vibes.

I just got my wisdom teeth out two weeks ago. I was TERRIFIED, but it ended up being a piece of cake (you can read all about it on my blog)! All I could eat for 2-3 days was jello, pudding and apple sauce, so good thing you stocked up. Good luck!!

Thanks for the comment on my blog!! Yes, I, Doggy Mama, did it - so BELIEVE ME, if I can do it, you can do it!! I'm the biggest baby there is. And I seriously was terrified. It has been two weeks and a day since I got mine out and I am SOOOOOOOO happy I had it done. I'm not joking when I say I put it off for 7 years!!

And thanks for saying my doggies are cute!! I think so too, but I'm a little biased, of course!!

BEST OF LUCK tomorrow! You'll be fine!!

I had mine pulled all at once. Was in NYC then and I rode the subway home and picked up painkillers at the pharmacy solo. It wasn't ideal, but it was okay. You'll be okay. Just plan to curl up under the covers and be out of it for a while. Good vibes...

Cheeky - Can't wait for your story! Lets wait until I got back for my follow up appointment, then you can scare me LOL

Alison - yeah I felt pretty good after, just a little shaky, so I was glad I had a friend pick me up. I am already so over this liquid diet. I want pizza or french fries or cake..!
