Tipping the Scales.....

I was blog browsing at work and stumbled across a site having a 4 month weight loss challenge. I decided to climb on board the weight loss wagon and see what I can do. My goal is 40lbs. I already eat fairly healthy, so my main goals are going to be getting myself to the gym at least 3-4 days a week and a bit of portion control.

Hopefully this will be the motivation I need to cut that birthday cake in half and freeze part of it, instead of sitting all weekend in front of my Tivo and eating the entire thing...in one sitting...with ice cream.

Wish me luck! We're supposed to update on our progress on Tuesdays, so check back in a week and see how I did on week 1!

Oh, and I, too, have been known to consume an entire ice cream cake and/or half gallon of ice cream in one sitting.

But didn't you know that there are no such things as fat or calories on your birthday!?!?
